TOUR OVERVIEW

Filled with culture, history, education centers, religious communities, and more, there is plenty to see. We invite you to spend the day enjoying Accra, as we start off the tour by taking you to Makola Market, In Accra Central. Take some time to visit the fabric market while viewing the overwhelming bustle of trade. While you are at it take some time to talk with the rulers of the market, market women. They are a joy to talk with and I promise they will make you laugh. After leaving Makola Market, the tour will continue at Kwame Nkrumah Park Ghana’s First President (Pan Africanist). Celebrating democracy and independence can never be taken for granted. Ghana honors its Independence at the Black Star and Independence Square which is the second largest space in the world dedicated to a political movement.
